5-Minute Brothein Stew Mug

Ingredients

  • 200ml boiling water
  • 2 tbsp Brothein (20g beef bone broth powder)
  • ½ cup cooked white beans or chickpeas
  • ¼ cup frozen peas
  • ½ cup chopped mixed veg (carrot, onion, celery)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Pinch of rosemary and thyme
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat a microwave-safe mug or bowl by rinsing with hot water.
  2. In a separate cup, mix the boiling water and Brothein powder until fully dissolved. Set aside.
  3. Add olive oil to the mug, then mix in the chopped veg, beans/chickpeas, and peas. Microwave for 2 minutes (stir halfway).
  4. Stir in the Brothein broth, herbs, salt, and pepper. Microwave for another 1–2 minutes, or until everything is hot and steaming.
  5. Give it a final stir, taste for seasoning, and enjoy straight from the mug!
